Amy Omand is a dynamic and results-driven CFO with a passion for driving positive
change and transformation for growth stage organizations. With a career spanning over
two decades, Amy has honed her expertise in helping organizations navigate complex
challenges and achieve their goals.
Amy started her professional journey at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and for-profit
consumer products companies. While obtaining her MBA at UC Berkeley’s Haas School
of Business, she was inspired by a course she took on the social responsibility of
business, and pivoted her career to work in organizations with a social mission. She
joined a healthy school lunch company as it scaled nationally, an organization working
to fight poverty in the Bay Area, as well as a venture philanthropy that provided seed
funding to innovative, K-12 education organizations.
Driven by her reflections on the needs of socially-driven entrepreneurs, Amy launched a
Fractional CFO consultancy, 7 Seat Consulting LLC. She works closely with these
entrepreneurs to setup their financial back-office to be audit-ready and prepared to
scale. Her consultancy specializes in financial strategy development, compliance and
internal control setup, and sustainable growth, offering a holistic approach that ensures
