Jack is a seasoned leader with over 35 years of experience in UHY Advisors Government Advisory Practice. His experience spans various sectors, including state and local governments, local school districts, federal government entities, and not-for-profit organizations. He has served many of the largest state and local government entities throughout the country, including New York City, Boston, San Jose, Nashville, and Washington, D.C., as well as the states of New York, Texas, New Jersey, Delaware, and California and Fairfax County, Virginia, Loudoun County, Virginia., and Montgomery County, Maryland. Jack's current focus is on leading ARPA consulting engagements for cities and counties across the nation, ensuring that these governments maintain compliance with these critical funds. 

Jack has played a pivotal role in the success of numerous localities in obtaining and maintaining their GFOA and ASBO Certificates of Excellence in Financial Reporting. His experience is recognized within the industry and sought after, making him a widely respected speaker on emerging issues facing these entities, from technical accounting matters to grants management to other financial management issues. Jack's contributions to his alma mater, the University of Richmond, were recognized when he became the first recipient of the Accounting Department Alumni of the Year award.

As the Director and Management Advisory Committee Alignment Officer at Scrubbed, Rizza plays a key role in overseeing the company’s strategic direction and alignment across management functions. She’s also the Lead Director for Firm Client Services. A dedicated mentor, Rizza finds joy in guiding her team and supporting their growth. With 19 years of experience in auditing, financial reporting, and management advisory services, Rizza brings a wealth of expertise to her role. Her career includes eight years at KPMG Philippines and Singapore, specializing in the manufacturing, construction, and shipping industries, and five years as a Legal Entity Controller with Citibank Shared Services Manila and Deutsche Bank Group Manila. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Rizza graduated cum laude with a degree in Accountancy from St. Louis University, reflecting her dedication to excellence and professional achievement.

Daniel Hood has been editor-in-chief of Accounting Today since 2011; he joined Accounting Today as managing editor in 1998. A graduate of Georgetown University, he has also served as a business editor for the New York Daily News, and as a production editor for The Wall Street Journal Europe. He is the author of five novels and a guidebook to New York City.
